Blaze is a handsome hound mix, a little over a year old and just under 60 lbs—the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and everything in between.
His story almost ended before it began. At just 5 months old, Blaze was surrendered to a high-kill rural shelter and placed on the euthanasia list. We were notified that he had only hours left, and thankfully were able to pull him to safety just in time. The moment we met him, we knew he was something special.
Since then, Blaze has blossomed into an amazing young dog who is ready to find his forever family.

Blaze would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and a family that can include him in their daily life. He’d especially love someone who works from home full- or part-time so he can enjoy plenty of companionship, playtime, and adventures.
After getting a second chance at life, Blaze is ready for the one thing he’s still waiting for… a forever home.
